Applications
The low modular silicone sealant suitable for sealing joints and cracks in buildings and houses. Provides universal adhesion to all common building materials, such as concrete, stone, (natural) stone, ceramic, enamel, glass, metal, rubber, wood, and synthetic materials (acrylic, PVC, ABS, polystyrene, polyester), without primer. Does not adhere to asphalt, polyethylene, polypropylene, or PTFE.
Instructions
Hold the sealant gun to the cartridge. Use a sharp knife to cut the plastic tab at the top of the cartridge from the threads to open the cartridge. Attach the nozzle and chamfer to the desired width.
Ensure the joint width is a minimum of 6 mm and a maximum of 20 mm. The joint depth depends on the joint width. The joint depth should be 6 mm for joints no wider than 12 mm. For joints exceeding 12 mm, the joint depth should be half the joint width.
Apply the sealant evenly to the joint, then sand it within 10 minutes using a sealant trowel or a BISON multi-tool (dampened in non-abrasive or mild soapy water). Remove any applied masking tape immediately after sanding. A protective film will form on the surface after approximately 15 minutes. Cured silicone sealant can only be removed mechanically.
