Silicone adhesive, also known as silicone sealant or silicone structural adhesive, is a type of adhesive primarily composed of silicone. Its excellent weathering, aging, and corrosion resistance, as well as its outstanding bonding properties, make it widely used in construction, automotive, electronics, and other fields.

Organic silicone building sealant, commonly known as silicone adhesive or glass adhesive, is based on a hydroxy-terminated siloxane polymer and a multifunctional siloxane crosslinker. Additionally, auxiliary materials such as plasticizers and reinforcing agents are incorporated, resulting from a meticulous process of compounding, mixing, and homogenization. This room-temperature-curing (RTV) elastic adhesive not only exhibits excellent high- and low-temperature mechanical properties and aging resistance, but also comes in one- and two-component packaging, offering rapid curing, ease of use, and storage stability. Consequently, it plays an indispensable role in a wide range of applications, including building waterproofing, door and window and curtain wall structural glazing, and architectural decoration.
